Start Here
Start here if you are trying to understand eUICC, eSIM, SGP.32, IoT routers, mobile networks and the practical choices behind connected-device deployments.
What this site is for
Most eSIM explanations stop too early. They describe a programmable SIM, then drift into marketing language about flexibility. That is not enough for IoT. A device estate still needs the right hardware, the right profile strategy, the right mobile network arrangement, the right IP addressing model, and a way back in when something goes wrong.
This site exists to join those pieces together. It treats eUICC as part of a deployment system, not a magic chip.
Recommended route through the site
Who it is written for
- IoT product managers planning connected devices
- Engineers testing routers, gateways, modules and SIM behaviour
- Procurement teams trying to avoid supplier lock-in
- Connectivity resellers and integrators who need plain technical material
- Anyone trying to separate eSIM reality from brochure fog
How to use the wiki
The companion wiki at wiki.euicc.co.uk is for shorter reference entries, definitions and acronym lookups. The main site carries longer guides and opinionated implementation notes.
